A young duke, heir to the throne, turns into an ugly monster every night due to a curse inflicted by an alchemist who his father killed. Only his true love can save him from the curse, but his fiance finds him hideous. Then his evil brother, who desires to claim the throne himself, stirs the commoners against him. The beast here is among Jack Pierce's last creations.
