The Waldemar Daninsky Saga (1968-????)

If anybody thinks it's ludricrous for a Spanish bodybuilder to be interested in creating a saga of fourteen werewolf movies, then obviously they haven't met Jacinto Molina. The first movie about cursed nobleman Waldemar Daninsky was released in 1968, titled "La Marca del Hombre-lobo". This and most of his other movies were released in the US under various titles, and became very popular among horror fans.
Known in the US under the stage name Paul Naschy, he quickly became a cult icon, and as he released more and more movies his fan base only grew. After a life spent creating the story of Daninsky and producing other great horror movies in his own unique style, even approaching the age of seventy Naschy is still occassionally donning the wolf man makeup in movies to appease his cult fan base. Who knows, perhaps the saga isn't over yet ...
